The Story
Over the past few months, I’ve been working with the Kewaunee County School District to bring Rosco’s Sweet Treats to life in a whole new way—through a card game! With help from Kewaunee Storm Manufacturing and the Advanced Digital Design class, we created Rosco’s Sweet Card Game, a fun, educational game that ties directly into the book.

Students—including Emma Barta, Eliza Froelich, Natalie Froelich, Jay Kunesh, Wren Kunesh, Haley Obry, Chelsea Rodriguez, Jesus Rodriguez, Bryson Swanson, and Matthew Tikalsky—helped design a game that can be played two ways: as a memory game or a fast-paced version called “MOOO,” inspired by the game Spoons (but instead of grabbing a spoon, you MOO like a cow!).

They met with K–2 teachers to make sure the game would truly engage young learners, designed the digital layout using images from the book, and even sourced a printer to bring the final product to life. The result is a compact, multi-use card deck that’s perfect for classroom storage and full of Rosco-inspired fun!
